It might be necessary to actually check for sheared keys beneath your pulleys. Setscrews on couplings may also have loosened. Check couplings for sheared keys as well.
Same goes for encoder connections. Although keys are seldom used to drive encoders, the momentum of the shafts during the crash could cause a setscrew to score a shaft and loose its grip.
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.
