    RFQ - small aluminum bracket

    Here are list of features:
    1. rough stock size is 3.75" x 2.25" x .5"
    2. 2x 6.4mm clearance holes
    3. 2x M6x1 tapped hole
    4. 1x M5x.8 tapped hole
    5. 1x slot
    6. outer profile

Aybody with a small milling machine can do this. Quantity will depend on the price.

Drawing? Without a drawing there are too many questions left unanswered. If you want an accurate quote provide a drawing.

How wide is the slot, length and depth and are the tapped holes through?

Please advise either in this forum or by contacting us via e-mail to:

Provide me with a fax number and I will send it over. Chipmaker6, the drawing is on it's way. Please ignore all the GT&T and tolerances. The drawing acutally looks more intimitaing than it really is. It doesn't need to meet all those details. I could care less if this part was made with a hacksaw, drill, and a dremel tool

I can send a dxf file in 1:1 scale. You can then glue the template on to the aluminum block and just cut out the shape. I'm thinking this will probably be the cheapest way to make this part.

The slot is trianglular, with generous radius on the 3 corners. a=(1.2") b=(.5") c= (1.25")

All the holes and slot are thru.

I'm looking for quantity of 1 to start and then up to 100, after the fitment check.

I would need some more imformation in order to quote, such as outer profile, top and bottom machine surfaces and hole location.

I will send the print out to a fax machine. Please ignore all the GD&T, it makes the part look lot more intimidating than it really is. I could care less if you used a hacksaw, drill, and a dremel tool to make this

If you have a manual mill, I can send you a drawing in 1:1 scale. You can then cut it out and glue it onto the aluminum block to mill it. Maybe this will be the cheapest way to make this part.

I'm looking at quantity of 1 to use for a fittment check. I will then probably need up to 100 afterwards.

I don't want to make the drawing public. Please give me your fax machine and I will send it over immediately.
