Hi All
just brought a 100watt Chinese laser cutter (80 w) with a fault on one of the axis machine was cheap £100 and local I have the dongles for the machine but no software
so my choices are trying to locate software or replace control board as far as replacing control board is concerned I ok for x and y its the best way to control the laser that I'm not sure of
Or should I go with the origonal control board i would like to confirm the laser works ok before i go down the retro fit

All advice experiances welcomed

I should add that I normally draw in fusion 360 and have both Mach 3 and uccnc Licences

You would have to research the terminals on to power supply and find out how to control it directly. Make sure you have water circulating the test fire the tube.
Even tubes that emit a beam might still be defective. For that you would have to get the optics working and see how well it penetrates wood during a test fire.
Be careful around the PS output and laser beam.
