I've got a bridgeport clone that needs to be fixed urgently here at work. Basically, the original cord got ripped out.
So, I have a new cord and installed the 3ph plug onto this new cord. Now hooking up the wires to the actual terminals concerns me.
I have 3 phases:
xyz, and ground of course.
Well on the actual mill, where there's the terminal, I have a "1, 2, 3, g"
So does "x" correlate to "1", etc.?
Does the order of which I hook up the wires actually make a difference? As long as ground is ground. I know for another machine I wired up here, it made no difference as long as the ground wire was on the ground terminal.
Thankyou!
