with those rails you have to install them to a micron really. other wise your whole frame will be deforming while you moving your table/gantry.
they don't bend. or have any play.
so you might curse they day you installed them

Yes, indeed, I assume the rollers are very demanding for parallelism and coplanar, though honestly I haven't found the specification yet .
I was surprised how loose the tolerances appear to be for large linear guides with circulating balls, e.g. 35um for parallelism and 140um for surface height on hiwin HG45 with the heaviest preload class.
i noticed that those balls in rails don't have the contact on the whole surface.or they ride on 2 points on the sides of the grove or in the middle.
roller guides have much bigger contact surface, so no much room for the wiggle
from my memory those rexroth rails i have few microns under the load of 3 -5 tons and it doesn't look like there was much difference in which orientation. even upside down
