    A couple o questions Andy,

What are these holes for, or are they important in the part z_bottom, and what size cutting do you use to cut out these parts or you do a tool change?

    Hi Tajord -

Sorry for the delay in replying. Those holes were intended for washers. One issue I was concerned about was the edge of the aluminum angle sinking into the wood if torqued in too much. I figured putting metal washers in there would prevent that from happening. It hasn't really been an issue on the MDF parts, so I phased it out in my latest changes.

    Hi Lionclaw, everybody,

having built a basic CNC router from scratch, I'm preparing to build a bigger one, preferably something that can handle 2'x4' cutting area or bigger. I was planning on just making my own again, but lately I've been tempted by some of the kits out there- I've been looking at the Joe 2006, the buildyourownCNC.com model and the LionClaw LC50B.

I'm posting this here because I haven't seen much of lionclaw here recently and was wondering if he's still doing kits. Is the price on the website current, and what's the estimated turnaround?

Sure, I could PM him, but that's no fun for everybody, is it?

    Cheers, Jim

    Hi Jim

I'm still doing kits. I'll be away however until mid february for some training in alabama. I've got the stock set to 0 for most items on the site to prevent orders until I return. The prices on the site are current, and the turnaround is usually about a week from when the order is placed.

You know, I'd swear I replied to Lionclaw last month....

Anyhoo, awesome. I want to build the LC50B, so I'll just wait until he's back from Abalama.

    Cheers! Jim

After seeing a youtube video of this lionclaw, wow!

When does the web site come back on line for me to possibly order me a kit?
