    Windows key in PP

Do any of you guys know how to make the windows key on the keyboard bring up the menu in PP, I have one drive that does and one that doesnt on the same computer??

I realize that it is a trivial thing but I just would like to know why it works on some updates and not on others??

    thanks for any input......

Google finds that your problem with the Windows Key is widely reported (search for "ubuntu windows key not working").

https://askubuntu.com/questions/1231...n-ubuntu-20-04 may be applicable. Please let us know if anything helps!

My Ubuntu skills are nonexistent!! I did the upgrade and waited several minutes for it to complete, still doesnt work......... not a big deal as its my spare computer for the machine, maybe some way to clone the drive that it works on??
the update was a lengthy process but my internet speed is almost nonexistent here in the basement.

Its really not that important, just irritating that it doesnt work ha!!

    Hi Mike
I don't think this is standard behaviour (I'm sure someone will race to correct me if this statement is incorrect ). I would expect this menu to belong to the mate-panel which is not running in the default installation. Are you sure you don't have both mate-panel AND pathpilot selected in StartupApplications on the machines where the menu appears?

Mike, glad to hear you got it sorted. I booted to a fresh installation this morning to check it out while my wife was waiting for me so it's your fault I was late
    Take care,
