A fortune.
Go to http://stores.ebay.com/8020-Inc-Garage-Sale and
you can find costs for the individual components and add them up.
I was just looking at a 80/20 catalog and the price for 1 x 3 was .93 cents a inch. Brackets and hardware prices are not to bad it's just the extrusion that kills you.

They have an eBay store too... Sometimes you can get a pretty good deal... This stuff is worth alot, if you really have a good use for it.. I use it all the time and I love it...

Hey check out my website...www.cravenoriginal.com
Thanks Marc
just a note the front post and front to rear crossmembers are 3x3 and back are 3x2 and the rest is mostly 1x1 with some 2x2 mixed in the top is 3/4 in plywood with 1/4 plastic (the same kind thats in fridges)
Just take it apart and build ya a mill......and lock the doors to keep others away from it.....LOL
When architects and engineers fail ......my phone rings....go figure! LOL What next?
COOL, I mean really cool. you can make anything cheaper if you want to, but I reckon this is really neat, and so adjustable.
Ian.
According to my catalog the prices would be :
10 Series
1x1 = $0.23 per inch
1x2 = $0.39 per inch
1x3 = $0.55 per inch
2x2 = $0.57 per inch
15 Series
1.5x3 = $0.93 per inch
3x3 = $1.50 per inch
Just go to 80/20.net and find a dealer near you and the dealer will give you a catalog with a price list and cd that is a add-on to your CAD program which will allow you to build a frame using 80/20 material and quoat a price for you.
