I am putting back some money to purchase a new control board for my ebay usb 3040z that has rotary or 4 axis. The box itself is a T_D 3 axis controller and I been looking at getting one from Planet cnc. Now what is the difference between the Mk3DRV controller and the CNC USB controller Mk3/4?

Planet cnc says the controller requires a license. Without license limited to 25 moves. Never heard of a license for a controller. What is the license cost?

This is because of the China plagiarism. The software / controller from Planet-CNC requires a license.
