I've recently finished converting my X1 Harbor Freight mill to CNC, and I'm now looking to go bigger (I guess this happens to everyone
). So after all of that blood, sweat, and hard work on my X1 it's time to sell and go bigger. I'm probably going to take out a loan for this one (no more room on my credit card), but thought I'd ask first before I do so.
At first I thought of the X3, but I've found a company called Tormach. They sell a CNC ready mill PCNC 1100 which looks great for the money (that's without the shipping), but have never heard of them. The packages are priced pretty well, and I'm even thinking of the fourth axis option. After I saw the demo videos and the capabilities of the machine, I was definitely hooked.
I'm running two computers, one with my Cad & Cam software and the other computer with TurboCNC at the moment, could this still be used with this kind of setup?
If there are any users on this forum, or if you know any info. about this machine, or of a better option please feel free to add
