I'm trying to find a spec sheet on the Vexta C6244-9212K. It is marked 5.7V, 1.6A, 1.8degrees/step. I am looking for info on holding torque, and inductance.

Oriental Motor is no help at all-it's as if they never made this motor.

Anybody know where to find specs on the older OM Vexta stuff?

It's a special order stepper for an OEM and Vexta won't help, trust me.
5.7V at 1.6A suggests its close to 90oz-in.

I have a couple of those too,and am looking for some wiring info , so if you find it before I do please post it , and I will do the same

Win:

Based on advice from Mariss at Geckodrive, i have mine hooked up Half-winding, drive set at 1.6A (15K current set resistor).

Wiring is as follows:

Phase A+ to BLK
Phase A- to YEL
Phase B+ to RED
Phase B- to WHT

I have BLU and GRN capped off.

One of the coils is BLK-YEL-GRN(where YEL is the Center Tap) and the other is RED-WHT-BLU.

Coil Resistance is 7.2 ohms full-coil, and 3.6 ohms from the center-tap to either end.

I use this motor with my dividing head, with a total reduction of about 227:1 from the motor to the rotary spindle.
