    extracting and projecting simple curves

I had a solid part I was playing with last week. It seemed simple but 2 things made it a long process for me. I do not have the part to show.

The part was a parasolid with open pockets that were at 5 different depths with inside radius that needed to be machined with a bullnose endmill.

Is there a quick and easy way to flatten a solid face profile and or a solidpart?

    Thank You

If you are using MCX use XFORM Project, then select wireframe, you can define a Z high to project too. I always put that wireframe on another level to keep donw the clutter. If V9 or below just xform squash select wireframe.
