Recent removal and reinstall of ATC has created a problem of "tool change position" of Z axis being approx. 0.1875" to high. The machine is a 1994 model Excel PMC-5V with a Fanuc OM control. Any help would be very much appreciated. I have already looked for a macro 09000 and don't believe that will be an option for me. Also I have started the machine under P-cancel, to eliminate soft over travel alarm. Much to no avail.

My manual says that parameter 0737 is the offset in machine encoder counts from the main Z-axis reference point (G28) to the second Z-axis reference point (G30 P1).

You'll need to set PWE=1 (and get alarm 100) to change the parameter. Make sure to set PWE (Parameter Write Enable) back to 0 as soon as you change what you need to change.
