We have Sinumrik 810t system having problem of plc,nc data loss because of
System Battery Down (Durra cell).
Battery Down problem comes frequently within 10 Days. so how many days
standerd battery life of system . what about check points to overcome this problem.

go and found some 3.6v recharge battery(it is standard for simens controled plc) I have recharge battery 4 of them on index C200. You have 2 on plc.
and 2 inside monitor konsol.
standerd battery life of system on sinumetrik im my case is 4 years,
and on my traub tnd360 with tx-8 controll is still runing after 9 years.
But you have to turn NC at least once a weak for couple hours.

I have an 810 that does this also.It`s a fault on a board that`s draining the battery.Can`t remember which board it is now and machine has other problems so haven`t been using it.As a stopgap I was going to feed the memory from an external supply which would not get switched off but I`m too busy with other things so it`s just been left.My batteries were not lasting a week before they went down.
As I`m typing this I seem to remember we thought it was a diode that had shorted.

We had this problem with one of our 810's a few years ago. 2 weeks and the back up battery was dead. It was the memory board inside the controller, I don't know what it was exactly but once replaced it was fine. Probably not much help for you though but I will ask our control guy and see if he remembers what it was exactly.
