    Re: VMX 24 LIMIT SWITCH

it is on the back side of the table Y axis. if you can move the y axis forward unbolt and slide the rear y axis cover back under the column.
Are you seeing Y+ and Y- at the same time and the table wont move. could be a stuck switch plunger. you can reach the switch from the back side of the machine with a broom stick remove the little cover from the column on the back of the machine shine a flash light up on the right side you will see the switch hang down from the saddle two plungers. spray the plungers with PB blaster wd 40 what ever penetrating fluid you like then trip the plungers a couple time with the broom stick..
If you need to replace the switch and can not move the machine. with the machine servos off. estop or machine power off. pull the front cover of the X axis table, unbolt the way covers left and right from the table slide them to the left and right, unbolt the Y axis way cover from the front of the saddle and there two bolts holding a metal plate on each side of the way cover. slide the Y axis way cover to the front of the machine. grab the ball screw and twist it by hand moving the Y axis forward enough to unbolt the rear Y axis way cover and slide it back to the column. lay over the top of the table and on the left side the switch should be bolted to the saddle with two 5mm bolts.
