    Workpiece alignment

    Hi,

    Anyone know if it's possible to perform a program to workpiece alignment (similar to how a Renishaw touch probe would do it) using just a 3D DTI or a tool to touch off the part?

    .....Or to rotate a face skim operation by touching off 3/4 points on a surface which is not parallel to the bed?
