Hi
I need help with the DATA SERVER connection in an old FANUC 15-MB CNC.
I would like to send and receive part programs from CNC –PC (both CNC and DATA SERVER)
Does anyone know how to set the CNC parameter for that purpose?.

I’m using “COMMUNICATION SOFTWARE FOR FANUC CNC” software
I downloaded the latest version from the following link:

It seems this software is ready for that but it needs a proper parameter setting in the CNC.

Your control would need to be the " i " series with "Extended Drivers and Libraries" function (FOCAS) option for this to work for either RS-232 or the OSI/Ethernet connection.
