    4' x 8' DIY Laser Cutter Under $2k - Phase 1 (Design, then re-design)

I am working on a 48" x 96" cutting space machine and my goal is to do this under $2k or very close to it.

I am currently in the CAD phase and would LOVE it if anyone has any feedback. Before I take the plunge, if anyone has any experience, PLEASE PLEASE leave a comment.

You didn’t say what you plan on cutting. It sounds like plywood. A machine to cut thin plywood would be difficult at that price. I would say impossible if the plywood were normal thickness.
