Question Where to get a vacuum pump

Well my 3hp vacuum pump is not cutting it. Would like to up to a 10hp to fill the bill.
Where would be a good place to get one besides e-bay. Need to be able to suck through 3/4 mdf and still hold a sheet of plastic steady.
What kinda price would one expect to pay. $2000?? $3000??

We use a vacuum from Becker pumps. Also, ultralight MDF works really well as a spoilboard...there's maybe a .02 skin on either side that once removed allows for quite a bit of flow through.

    Good luck.

I was just looking at some vacuum pumps at MSC direct (www.mscdirect.com). They started at a few hundred dollars and went into the thousands depending on how many CFM you are needing.
