HELP. Where to hook up 2 wire plasma relay

Hello everyone! I am trying to connect my hypertherm to a simple on/off relay on my Avid controller box. The problem is that I do not know where to connect the two wires. I have no torch height control and I do not need it. I just need my Hypertherm to turn on and off when commanded. Please help.

Re: HELP. Where to hook up 2 wire plasma relay

    Hi,
the contacts are called 'dry contacts'. They are usually the normally open contacts of a relay. You need the AVID machine to turn on and off a small signal relay and the NO
contacts of that relay are connected to the plasma. Does the AVID have a spare relay?
