I'll try in the next few days !! I will keep you informed
today I did some tests, but with negative results, the floppy light does not turn on!, with error "2148 floppy-diskette bereit error" (my lathe lb 12 is in German language) I tried with electronic cards 2 and 3 (card 3 is that of okuma mc4va) as you can see in photo 4 I borrowed the floppy disk with all the electrical cables and its card 3, but as I said above I was unable to communicate with the floppy disk from 3.5, on the lathe I used the command:
Edit F8 F2 FDO: WRITE
in the past few months I have used card 1 with the fdd412a reader and managed to copy the files to the 8 inch floppy.
does anyone have any suggestions for making the 3.5 inch floppy work on lb12 lathe?
in photo 5 my configuration of electronic boards of the lb12 lathe
What type (name) of 3.5'' floppy drives are installed on Your MC-4VA? My machine has this big, old 8 inch drive FDD412A.
Here is some info on switch settings of FDC and FRP boards. Hope You'll find it usable.
hi, the reader of the mc4va is YD 702 6037 B
I also have the 8-inch floppy disk drive fdd412a (see photo # 1).
do you think there may be a solution?
Has anyone on the forum addressed this issue? any suggestions are appreciated
thanks
hello, I tried the FDC B ll card with a thousand attempts, dssw all combinations, I used the floppy disk de mc4va, and a floppy stanzard very similar to that of the mv4va, with the standard computer cable and the original mc4va cable, but without any result,
I bought this 3.5 okuma floppy, I did another test with this electronic board, even changing the original 34 pin cable (short in the picture) with the crossover computer cable?the outcome was negative ! can anyone give advice? thank you
hello, do you have the precise name of this card? is it okuma? thankss
