    Unhappy Arrow 750 - Alarm 40-33 Output/Fuse Failure in APC Rack 0

    Hi everyone!

I have Cincinnati Acramatic 2100E Arrow 2 and after changing the battery of the RT board 2379A02
This error come up Alarm 40-33 Output/Fuse Failure in APC Rack 0

    RT-Board : PN : 3-424-2379A02
    BIOS : Award v 4.51pg (ROM PCI/ISA BIOS (2A5LED42))

We have checked the 24V and fuses but everything is correct

We made the following configuration in the BIOS :

    ONLY FOR 2379A02

BE AWARE (SPECIAL CARD): Before you put an AT powersupply to THIS RT Card you must change some Pin options on the card.
Not respecting this procedure will probably destroy the card.

    This is the procedure:
    - Take a picture of the RT card before doing anything on it, to have a backup PIN configuration.
    - Remove the JPP pin
    - Put a PIN between 2 and 3 on JP2
    - put the P8 and P9 powersupply cord on the RT CARD, the black cables must be in the middle
    - Put the VGA Card
    - Power on the power supply
At this stage you must see the starting boot, just press the correct button to access to the bios settings.

    - Standard CMOS setup:

Is it possible to have the binary file to flash it?

    Many Thanks!

When you remove the battery on the RTC board you will loose the BIOS. You will need to re-flash the BIOS or send it to FIVES machine company for a re-flash 800-934-0735 it is about $500.00

Not sure if this is related to the other post about the same alarm the same day this one was started, but if not...you may want to review the other threads.

There are other causes for the alarm you mentioned, but if it started immediately after changing the battery, it is likely the BIOS needs to be reflashed. As Meckardt mentioned, you can send it to Cincinnati but there are other options as well. Siemens (which currently owns the Acramatic product line) also can do this, and I have been testing/reflashing boards for people on these forums for years (send me a PM if you are interested).

Regarding your procedure you posted, that does not appear to be anything that was released by Siemens or Cincinnati, and is likely something that was typed up by an end user as they were attempting to get their machine working. Unfortunately, many of these things being posted do not work on all machines and simply cause headaches for all the people that try them unsuccessfully. This is why I will only respond with any machine specific settings directly (i.e. via PM) as posting something for one machine (even if it is correct for that machine) seems to cause issues for a number of other people that read the forum.

Maver1k and Meckardt55 both have posts to help with the Output Fuse Failure on APC Rack 0
