    How to Calculate a 5.5Kw spindle motor machine actual power consumption

    I have bought my first ever machine from China.
    on the spindle motor, it's written that it is a5.5Kw and 16 Amp motor. it is 220v single phase.
    i highly doubt these figures.
    can anyone tell me how much electricity this machine will consume?
