hi all

recently taken a multicam au sr series machine out of storage. which i am struggling to start. am i doing something stupid?

plug it into three phase, the breakers are lighting up green in the power box of the machine. when i push the machine start button on the power box nothing happens.

there is a compact flash card and usb stick (in the shape of a key) with the machine. i have plugged these into the obvious ports i can find on the machine to see if that makes a difference but no luck.

unfortunately the old operator has left i have read the manual which seems a very simple start procedure. am i missing something like a hidden usb port i need to plug the usb key into?

That is actually encouraging! Nothing blew up, and the machine did not go mad.
In case you are wondering, I am actually quite serious.

I suspect that the machine is in eStop state - which is normal.
I suggest you need to either find an experienced multicam operator, or hire the old operator back for a few days. That will be MUCH faster than any other route.
