    Helical Error in TurboCNC?

I finally got everything going and when I run the g-code in turbocnc I get an error helical no longer supported use 3rd axis or something like that when I run my code. Any ideas?

Well another operator error, I guess sheetcam was trying to cut my drilled holes as profiles. I guess I need to create them as points in autocad instead of holes.

You are probably using the wrong TurboCNC post. V4 changed the way helical cuts are implemented. If you use the V4 post it will probably fix the problem.

You can drill using circles to mark the holes. If the circles are bigger than your milling cutter then you need to put them on a different layer otherwise they will be milled. Make sure the min hole size is less than the circle diameter and the max hole size is greater.

By the way, it can help to spot problems if you rotate the display. Hold down the shift key while dragging with your mouse to rotate the display. Double click to return to 2D view.
