Contemplating A Purchase Of A Qt-8 Are Ther Any Special Quirks To This Model I Should Know About?
Also What Kind Of Support Is Out There For The Electronics It Is A 1993 Model?
We Have A Qt28n And Love It. It Just Keeps Running. And Is There A Set-up Fee With Mazak To Get Parts And Tech Support.
We Have Not Really Used It For Our 28 But You Never Know When Buying Used?

Mitsubishi stocks most of the electronic parts and if they don't they will repair just about anything. No setup fee for parts or service. Mazak was heading this direction some time back but decided against it. Not sure about any quirks, but most Mazak machines will run a very long time if taken care of properly.
