Is there an FAQ on how to attach/include photos?

I posted a in another category yesterday
    https://en.industryarena.com/forum/a...s--436889.html
and spent much of the day trying and failing to attach or include photos.

Any thought? In my view I see the thumbnails of the photos that I attached and can click on them to expand them but apparently others can not see them.

Click on Go Advanced below the Quick Reply window, then Manage Attachments to upload your photos. Once they're uploaded place your cursor where you want the photo(s) and click on the Paperclip in the ribbon bar to choose your photos for insertion.

    Thanks.

So I went to manage attachments and uploaded my files. I see them under additional options.

    I don't see a paperclip.

Well, I see a paperclip in the preview. It is right before the words "Attached Thumbnails" which is right above the thumbnails that I see in the preview and will see in the post.

    I'm learning

See my wife was right. I'm trainable.
    Thanks for everyone's patience.

I still don't understand why the attachments didn't work.

Moderator note: I moved this thread to this location to get it in a more appropriate sub-forum.

And I see that Albercook has a viable solution to his image posting issues by using a 3rd party 'photo host', in this case https://postimages.org/

For others who wish to use a 3rd party photo host, in my experience, using Google as a photo host is not a good choice. It CAN be made to work, but Google looks at displaying photos from a 'user privacy' perspective, and that can lead to the photos not being viewable to some (or perhaps all) viewers, depending on 'permissions' set for that photo. Very frustrating for all concerned!

If you want to use a 3rd party photo host, use someone other than Google. PostImages.org works well, and the price is right!

...select file...then click Upload..then Wait for file to upload. Bigger files take longer.
