Lightbulb WARP coordinates parts away with TNGv2

    Hello,
I'm a happy user of TNG2 software with the MK3/9 controller I recently acquired.
Which for me is more institutive than my old UCCNC software with UC300ETH-5LPT controller.
But for 2 weeks I've been looking for a solution to do the warp and I can't.
I would like to make PCB boards, but sometimes when I apply the warp, the tool is very far from my part.
Because my points are saved with machine coordinates, while my file is in work coordinates (X0 Y0 Z0)
It happens that when I apply the warp, the tool is very far from my piece.
I tried to edit the Surface Measure script file, I still can't.
I would appreciate any help from you.

    Thanks.

Not sure if you have the same problem but I seem to be getting constant 1.0 mm measurement for the whole surface measure grid. I mean importing measurement points to warp table give me just dead exact 1.000 Z offsets for the whole grid.
It's been over a year since I used my router last time and now updated the TNG and MK3eco firmware so this is a new issue. There's been bugs in warp feature earlier but the response from support was, lets say not that friendly so not too keen to raise questions through that route as this may be some new thing that I've setup wrong.

Warped points already have Z offset. Setting another Z offset will cause Z heights to be incorrect.

Enabling warp leads to +1mm offset without additional offsets and besides, how would I handle tool change if another offset wouldn't be allowed and also like said it worked fine before updating anything (excluding the bug which lead me to having to manually alter the gcode to avoid it crashing to work piece).

And well maybe the bigger question is why warp shows z1.0000 for all imported points.

I uninstalled TNG, manually removed all configs etc. and then reinstalled it. Now measurement works again. I guess last update wasnt migrating things correctly.

I changed computer with a new installation of windows, I still have the same problem. This is definitely a setting that escapes me.

So if I use a 3D probe to measure the surface and then install the cutting tool I am no longer able to compensate for the tool length?

Yes, you still can compensate for tool length.
Offset should be difference between tool that was used for measuring and this new tool.

While waiting to find the solution to my problem, I combine the WARP function and the AutoLeveller software.
    it works very well.
