    lathe

I bought a Jet 14 x 40 gear head gab bed lathe a few years ago and had good results with the lathe.

We bought a Jet ZX1860 thinking it would replace our aged Jet RX1860. Big mistake!!! The head stock was out of alignment at delivery, several bearings had to be replaced, a gear came loose during operation etc. Long story short, the ZX went back to Jet and we still use the Worn out RX! We replaced the ZX1860 with a Kingston 2060. Nice machine and very accurate.
