    Purplexing belt issue

1993 3016 (Solid mount) Low speed belt sounds like its crunching going clockwise and not counterclockwise. Hi-speed is fine and no issues. After I adjust the motor mount tensioner all the way out the noise goes away but this tensioner cannot be run loose. I replaced the bearings in the idler wheels and made sure the line are full of oil running to the cylinders. Its weird that a belt would crunch one way and not the other....could I suspect the motor to be out of alingment with the pullies? Or is this just a worn belt? This machine had a TON of goober under the cover so I wouldnt be suprised if the damn pulley is caked. But if it were caked then it should have that problem in both directions....

Well after more digging I found these spindles are not solid mounted and the rubber was bulging on the backside of the mount. A couple mounts later we should be back in business.!
