    Graphic display 10T

    Hi.
Do anybody know how to enforce the 10T control represent the graphic screen? My manual says that software button "grafh" has to appeare on the CRT after pressing function button. But it is absent. May be any parameter settings are needed?
    Best regards.

This is an 'extra' - if you din't pay for graphics when the m/c was new FANUC will turn them on, but usually costs ££££'s - unless you find a very, very friendly FANUC Engineer

BTW, don't try it yourself unless you know the sequence in doing it. It will lock the machine and you will have to have a Fanuc Tech come in anyway. This is something I heard so it not a 100%.

    Cheers!!!!

IIRC, You will also need the FAPT card.

I may be getting confused with the FAPT conversational programming, which is a board fitted to the 10MF but I also show a 01P17 board required for Graphic Control.

LOL, my question wasn't very clear, sorry about that.

My question is: In the Manual they show the Graphics on the CRT for G-Code programs and it shows how to make it active so you can see the program work before hitting the cycle start. I was told that if you start changing parameters in the wrong sequence that the machine will lock up on you rendering it useless.

I was told this function was a money parameter that requires a Tech from Fanuc to come in to perform the service.

Is there any truth to that statement??

    Sorry for the confusion

I have some options for the 10T but I don't have the one for graphics.
But it can be done, using a special procedure through the PWE setting.

    Hi.
I understand I can't use graph display without any special equipment?

Do you have the 01P17 card in one of the main board slots?

To my mind 01P17 card - unit of the 12 series.
