    Unhappy Fanuc OT

Does anyone know if parameter settings can change the amount of program memory? I had been running programs before I accidently cleared all parameters I have restored parameters according to paperwork I found in the back door of maching. But now the controller says I dont have enough memory space to run the programs I have prevously been running.HELP!

    Parameter 901

    Bit 1=1 (memory is 120M)
    Bit 2=1 (memory is 80M)
    Bit 3=1 (memory is 40M)
    Bit 4=1 (memory is 20M)

This isn't in Meg's like you may be used to but I believe it actually referred to the length of tape 120M is 120 Meters.

A couple more that may be of interest.

    903 bit 5=1 (125 programs input)
    915 bit 7=1 (200 programs)

What was the original setting for the 905 parmeter bits?
and you may have had 915 bit7 set for 200 programs.
You set the PWE bit to 1 on the Setting screen and in MDI to change the individual bit #.
