My new lathemaster mill just arrived and UPS says the CNC retro kits from www.IndustrialHobbies.com will be delivered tomorrow!
Here's my project list, by this time tomorrow I'll have it all in the shop and be on my way to cnc'ing.

The CNC kits arrived this afternoon!!! More pics later this evening. On the costs...
Mill $1,375 plus $240 for shipping LA to NY
CNC kits were $1,650 for XY and $1,000 for Z, this included the Gecko's and heat sinks, power supplies, cables, etc.
$225 for 3 coolant proof optical limit switches
$150 for Mach2
I got a copy of OneCNC Mill Profressional at a heavy discount and it still put a huge dent in my wallet, no scratch that, not a dent, a gaping hole. I like the software and its a great deal compared to the cost of a Mastercam or Virtual Gibs but dang this CNC software is expensive.

Sure beats writing gcodes by hand.but dang this CNC software is expensive.
That's a sweet machine. Is that drill press one of the mini table-top models? (Mine stands about 1-1/2 to 2 feet high)Matt

The drill press is 26 inches tall (Sears 8 inch benchtop) it just looks puny sitting next to the beast

This bench is 20x54 inches and the kit just fits. Note the D cell Engergizer next to the Z axis stepper is shown for scale.
