    E-Stop

    I have a PMDX-122 BOB.

Mach 3 2.0 I have the motor spinning but when I press the E-Stop it only stops them while I hold the button down.

In the diagnostic panel the Pin for #7 appears to go green when I push the button.

Beats me, I also have a charge pump that may or maynot be working.

Motor tuning, what are good numbers for 425oz motors as a starting point?

    Thanks

    Smitty

There are two types, momentary and push-to-lock, the momentary are used with a E-stop relay, where the relay uses a latching contact, this circuit requires a start PB, however, (the latching contact is across the start PB).
Probabally a google of stop/start circuits will come up for further info.
Sometimes the over travel limits are placed in series with the latching contact, this enables the OT limits to be over-ridden by the start button, to enable jog off the limit.
