    Teflon Plastic lathe machining

    I was wondering if anyone had an idea on how you can break your chips while running plastic product on a cnc lathe

    To get a good cut and finish you have trouble breaking chips of Teflon. I have used a vacuum attachment on the tool post before to control the stream and keep the dust down.

    Thanks Darren, We use a vacuum but with tool changing and all we have to have to door open to hold the vacuum. thanks again.
