Hi everyone,

I want to know what you guys think about the Hyundai VMCs.
We work basically with die/mold components and precision parts (tolerance about 0.0005" each 40").

I already have the following machines: 98' Fadal VMC 4020A and a 01' Feeler FV1000. They are ok, but I need more accuracy.

The options are more acceptable are: HAAS VF-3, Fadal VMC 4020, Feeler FV1000, but the Hyundai VX500 seem to be one step ahead in acurracy and general qualities these brands.

I don't have a nice amount of $$$, so the machine should be more "on budget".

A Hyundai-kia vx500 is a good bet, very reliable, priced well and is in general a good looking machine if that matters. They are much better overall than machines built in taiwan but are maybe only a little more in price. Something else to remember now and days is if a builder will still be around in a few years. Hyundai is not going to go away anytime soon.
