    5 VSP: Sicherheitsfunktion

And if i open and close door i get another error

    15 VSP = clamping Z axis active.
    5 VSP = safety Function
    85 SSP safety Function

Could be Z axis clamp fault.
I think the safety function error are dual channel from NC and PLC.

    Check Z axis clamp first.

    Hi,

Yes Z axis clamp is active, but i think its active because of other errors (safety function).
Today when i turned ON machine i get more errors, and i see that one of the drives are not working.

    Hello,

My MDS-A-V1-35 drive for Z was dead, i replaced it with second unit i have.

But now i have 2 errors:

    15 VSP = clamping Z axis active.
    5 VSP = safety Function

does anyone have a clue what it could be? How can i check Z clamp?

    Thank you!

Usually, when the drives enable, vertical (z) axis unclamp shortly after (or(z) axis motor brake releases). However, the control has to confirm the motor is under power and holding position.

The clamps (switch?)/ brake circuit (relay?) could be faulty or the plc output keeping it clamped for safety reasons.

    This safety chain needs investigation.
