However, if I try to put a .098" drill in a 1/8" collet, it clamps down unevenly. I can play around with it enough to make it visually look even, but that's not practical when needing to set this tool up several times a week by a variety of people. It seems like it is better for those tools near the small size range to actually drop down a collet size even if that does force the collet open a little. I was wondering what some other people's thoughts might be on this topic.
