How Would you Cut a 12”OD Dial Ring?

The attached shows a 12”OD dial ring for a clock 1.25” wide to be cut on 3/4" plywood. I’m not an experienced cnc user and I wonder if a contour path will do the job or perhaps a contour for the outside and perhaps a pocket for the interior?

    Any suggestions will be appreciated

    Thanks

That should work but don't expect the inside corners to be any sharper than the radius of the bit you choose.

    Thanks David for your time,

Which one should work? contour path or contour for the outside and pocket for the interior?

I understand about the bit radius, I plan to stop the cut well before and finish by hand

I most often cut outside the line but it depends on how you draw your model. You'll get basically the same results either way except 'on' or 'inside' the line will produce a smaller part than outside the line.

May you look for bladers which will help for special corners and etc...
