    Instead of Gas Pipe

    Can I use copper pipe?

    Like the stuff plumbers use?

    You can, but it won't last long at all. It's much too soft.

    It also has thinner walls and will be more prone to sagging and vibration when the gantry is over the middle point of the table. Rich
