    Small Mill Cnc Conversion

I am finally getting to start this small project. The first area I would like to address is getting the ball screws I need. I plan on using Rockford ballscrews. Are there any particulars that I need to address when doing this? Any help would be appreciated. The photo attached is the actual machine I will be doing the conversion on.

Have a look at this thread. He has retrofitted the same mill except it has the horizontal spindle as well.

Thanks a bunch for that link. I think it is going to help me a great deal. All I have to do now is sit down and find time to read the whole thing.
