The term "M100" does not have a specific or universally recognized meaning in relation to lathes. Please visit Integrated Solutions for More.https://integratedsol.co.in/lathe-and-cnc-milling/
Everywhere I've read about M100 says it's user defined M code:
"User Defined M-Codes: M100-M199"
Example: TORMACH, LinuxCNC
Edit: Specific for okuma lathe I've found this:
M-Code List Cheat Sheet – Okuma Lathes
maybe will help you.
Sync wait command. Stops processing with no read ahead until both M100s are completed.
Experience is what you get just after you needed it.
hello mr wizard please, what is the difference between m100 and P ?

from manual : M100 : No look-ahead of program, main spindle waiting for synchronization
spindle is waiting for sincronization with who? or is something else waiting for the spindle ?
does a sync comand <> M100 ignores the spindle, so M100 is added there ?
please, i don't understand this sync / kindly
