Smile NonTormach Lathe HAL problem, door and limit inputs

How are you configuring door and limit switches in your HAL files? I'm stuck.

On PathPilot lathes use multiple frequencies on one input pin (freq2pin) to monitor multiple functions. That includes the door safety switch, and homing/limit switches.

What are we doing to get around this problem?

Re: NonTormach Lathe HAL problem, door and limit inputs

'm trying to follow this guidence, remap limits and door switch to the pins that are designated for Probe and Toolchange Input.

I'm studying the LinuxCNC HAL guide. I'm just not fully sure how to do this correctly. ?
