    Difference between okuma controls

    Hi

    What is differences between OSP700 and OSP7000?
    or U10 and U100?

    is difference related boards or software?
    and is possible to upgrade 700 to 7000 or U10 to U100?

    Color display and more possibilities. Sometimes potential posibilities are important. For instance, OSP700 is impossible to upgrade seriously ( color display is not a serious upgrade )
    In case of lathe you can decide to add smart bar feeder; touch setter; parts catcher, high pressure coolant command, IGF ....
    you can decide to add 4th rotating axis for milling machine, touch setter, DNC and so on ...

    Okuma control is highly expressed modular construction. The rack ( and cabling ) of 7000 is more capable. Some modules are the same, of course.
