    Onlinestepper T6 Servo on Bridgeport

I am new to the servo game and I was wondering what I have to do to set up the drive for a Bridgeport. Tuning and parameters. Do's and Don'ts!

    Hi,
are you replacing existing servos or are you starting from scratch?

If replacing servos then I imagine you'll want servos and/or drives that match the existing control system. Then the issue is 'what is that control system', as many
modern AC servos and drives are not well suited to old, or rather earlier generation control systems.

Moving from stepper motors to servos. Just no clue what to do.

The Onlinestepper T6 Servos seem to be step & direction only, so you should be able to use the same control as you were using for your steppers.

    Do's
Follow the instructions in the documentation for your servos.
Tuning instructions are in the documentation. Normally there is an auto-tune procedure.

    Don'ts
Do not mechanically connect the motors to the ball screws until you are sure you have the servos under computer control and know what to expect.

Why would it pause four times during bore or pocket? Plus the hopes are still not round.
