    water cooled spindle

I am looking at upgrading my spindle on my cnc. The current is a hitachi router.

The machine is located in my garage which is not heated or cooled. Location Missouri.

Can you use RV fluid for the spindle coolent instead of water, or some other coolent that will not freeze in the winter?

    Thanks!

    Re: water cooled spindle

When upgrading the spindle on your CNC machine, it's important to consider the coolant requirements of the new spindle. While using RV fluid or other coolants instead of water is possible in some cases, it ultimately depends on the specifications and recommendations provided by the spindle manufacturer.
