A2 series VFD, where is the perameter to change the number of poles?

    Hello,

There is nothing in my manual which specifies which perameter number will allow me to change the motor poles. Anybody know which number it is?

    I have the 5.5kw A2 series VFD

    Many thanks

    Hi,

    A2 8022 Inverter
Is not a manufacturer or a brand.

A manual of 24 pages??? Most reputable VFDs the first 24 pages are just the safety precautions and the contents.
Your VFD does not have a setting for the number of poles. Call it ultra basic.

I could not find anything on it out there on the web that indicates pole # entry, have you tried to run it at a set low RPM and see what is the result, i.e., whether as per the setting or double/ half etc.
what is the pole count of your motor?
I would not think it is self detecting, but you never know!
