Sebalj, You do not show the monitor connections on the WSCPU board.
Is the monitor a 50 pin SCSI plug or a 9-pin "D" plug?
If 50 pin does it plug into the WSCPU or a different card?

    Hi Greg

Im not sure how to upload pictures on here
From what I was told the video card is part of the workstation board
The plug in the back of the monitor says OSA VIDEO
the monitor was replaced by Monitech LCD monitor MP2100K

Re: work station (WSCPU) VGA Display

If the WSCPU has a 15-pin HD Plug like the photo attached; then any old PC monitor can be temporarily plugged into the WSCPU board and powered by a wall plug. You shoulds see the bios load in black & white at least.

Bridge Board LED: WS CPU DIAGNOSTIC FAIL (Red LED) - Is turned ON when the WS CPU is powered on or reset.
Is not turned OFF by the WS CPU until all WS CPU A2100 Operating System diagnostics have passed.
Because there are no resident diagnostics on the WS CPU except BIOS, this does not happen until the WS CPU has loaded from the hard drive and started the NT-A2100 operating system.

maybe you are not allowed to attach a pictue since you are newly registered member.
You can place a picture on whatever public available site and post a link here.
It's a good idea to check your workstatin board.

    Re: workstation (WSCPU) VGA Display

To upload document and pictures from a PC or USB Drive: Select "Go Advanced" > "Attachments Icon" (Paper-with-paperclip) > "Choose File" > Select desired file > Repeat until all files are added >
Select "Upload" > Select "Close Window".

Your 3-424-2290A02 Board should have the "50 Pin" SCSI Connector in the silver metal AMP Plug.
Some Early Digital Monitors had a special separate AVED Board to plug the monitor into; but your does not.
The board you sent back would have been tested with the proper Digital monitor (Non-VGA).
?Are you getting anything at all on on the display?
Bill Oehler may be of help. Who did you send the board to for repair?
Have you measured the BIOS Battery voltage on the board without removing the battery?
Loss of Bios would do the same thing.

    Re: workstation

This really doesn't sound very complicated.
You had the WS Board tested (and purchased a 2nd board), so the WS Board has been eliminated as a possibility.
You don't have the separate video card, so that can't be the issue.
Unless you have had mice chewing on the cables in your machine, the issue is in the operator's station.
You said you had the monitor in the operator's station replaced (although it likely only needed new backlights), but you did not replace the operator's station or any other components in it.
There are multiple components in the Operator's station that in theory could be drawing voltage down enough to cause an issue, but only one that is directly involved with powering the display and converting the video signal....seems like the best place to start.
