    wired transformer incorrectly

hi there guys i had the three wires coming from the okuma to the transformer in the wrong terminals. after i turned it on i heard two loud implosions or explosions
i have all wires in the right order but the control doesn't come on any more
what do you think is blown up?
i have EXP126-0A Power Supply 24VDC and right next to it transformer E2565-254-409 a burning smell was evident but not sure.
thanks i really appreciate the help.

transformer itself first of all. Next, check if there are some three phase motors ( fan, hydaulic pump and maybe coolant pump ) powered directly from three phases after the transformer. The power unit maybe burned out - that's why control doesn't start anymore. Check the VFD's ( servos ) as well. Is the display CRT or LCD ? CRT maybe blown out.

the transformer appears to be fine since I turn it on i see lights coming on and "01" on the drive unit can the GOMI transformer be bad? how would you test /troubleshoot?

...5v, 12v, 24v there are many voltages supplied that are transformed.

i have part number 1911-2523-64-148 this is the power supply (behind the CNC control) that I THINK is not working? the power supply itself doesn't seem to have a part number it's sold as a unit.
if i measure the voltage coming in is not exactly 100 v i am getting round 8.65

    (red wires ) AE501
would you know where this originates from? is my battery bad perhaps?
there is also a set of boards FNDR could they be faulty?

...look for anything burned or smells burned...Anything marked for voltages on the wires or boards? If, not you need the wiring diagrams of the machine to repair anything.

check the resistance. Looks like short connection there.

...I would start with Power OFF going to the machine completely ....than with an Ohm meter check the Transformers for Open/Shorted windings. Photos help.

teach me also, how to find transformer's shorted windings with ohmmeter
my idea is to check power consumer side for shorts.

thanks, Dj i will do that but when you say transformers? my step down canadian transformer as well as the 2kva okuma transformer?E2565-254-409 ?
also i forgot to mention that i am supposed to receive 8.6v when control OFF and 11.8v with the control ON!!!!!
however i only get this number if i remove this fuse here what's your analysis on this?

i measure 8.6ish with the way it is. i remove this fuse , i measure 11.8ish

found the problem. OKUMA OPUS7000 POWER SUPPLY problem resolved; the second power supply is at the bottom in the rack where all the boards are. here is the part number for those interested. E0451-521-094
if you want this unit repaired contact me. or any power supply units for that matter.
