Toolmex Manual Turn lathe with 840D is not operating correctly. Had a PLC failure and had to replace it and reload the software. We lost our programs during the process.
The issue is that as we write a new program using the defined cycles, e.g. “Strait” the tool will go to the programmed approach position, then it will move out incremental X positive 1.0” then begin feeding from this point at the programmed feed rate. This adds a tremendous amount of extra time. I cannot see what is needed to correct this. The movement does not show in the “G” code screen but does in the simulation. See picture of G code, it moves to X 8.1295 as programmed then steps out to X 9.1295 and then feeds in at 0.006”/rev
Any idea what might be going on or where to look?
